Youth Services for Stephens County, Inc. (YSSC) is committed to serving children, youth, adults, and  families through a variety of services.  YSSC was established in 1975.  YSSC is a non-profit, multi-funded agency serving Stephens, Jefferson, and Cotton Counties.  It is the mission of YSSC to enhance and strengthen the emotional health and functioning of youth, adults, and families. 

              The agency is nationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditations for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) to provide outpatient counseling services..

YSSC is certified through the Department of Mental Health/Substance Abuse Services.  This certification allows the agency to provide substance abuse services within the communities of our service area.  An important aspect of these programs involves increasing  awareness of the problems associated with substance abuse as well as discouraging youthful involvement in delinquent behaviors.  Assessments are provided as needed.
